Accurate annual return and wealth statement filing for salaried individuals, business owners, freelancers, AOPs and companies, with confirmation of your filer status.
Filing an income tax return means declaring your income, the tax already deducted from it and, for individuals, your assets and liabilities through a wealth statement. In Pakistan this is done online on FBR’s IRIS portal. A correctly filed return keeps you on the Active Taxpayer List (ATL), which means lower withholding tax on bank transactions, property, vehicles and many other payments.
Many people file late or make mistakes because the forms are long and the rules change every year. Our consultants review your salary certificates, bank statements and tax deduction certificates, claim the adjustments you are entitled to, reconcile your wealth statement and file the return for you. You receive a copy of the filed return and acknowledgement for your records.
Every return we file goes through a careful review so that your figures are accurate and supportable if FBR ever asks questions.
Filing is required for many people and highly beneficial for almost everyone who earns, saves or invests in Pakistan.
Employees whose income is above the taxable limit, and those who want filer benefits on banking and purchases.
Shopkeepers, traders and service providers running a sole proprietorship or partnership.
People earning from foreign clients, platforms or IT services who need a clean tax record.
Anyone buying or selling property or vehicles, where filers pay much lower advance tax.
The exact list depends on your income sources. We will send you a checklist after a short conversation.
Four clear steps from your first message to completed work, with updates at every stage.
Tell us about your income sources and we confirm the documents required and our fee.
Send copies by WhatsApp or email. We check them and ask only for what is missing.
We prepare the return and wealth statement and review the figures with you before filing.
We file on IRIS, share the acknowledgement and confirm your ATL status.
Pakistan’s tax year runs from 1 July to 30 June. Returns for individuals and AOPs are normally due by 30 September after the year ends, unless FBR announces an extension. Filing on time avoids late-filing penalties and keeps you on the ATL without paying a surcharge.
For individuals, the wealth statement shows the assets and liabilities you hold at the end of the year. The increase in your wealth should be explained by your declared income and other legitimate sources. Inconsistencies are one of the most common reasons for FBR notices, so we reconcile it carefully.
Only people whose names appear on FBR’s Active Taxpayer List are treated as filers. Non-filers pay higher withholding tax on cash withdrawals, property transfers, vehicle registration and many other transactions, and may face restrictions. Filing your return is the way to get onto the ATL.
Answers to the questions clients ask us most about this service.
Once we have your documents, a straightforward return for a salaried person is usually prepared within one to two working days. Returns with business income or complex assets take a little longer.
Not always. If enough tax has already been deducted from your salary or transactions, you may have nothing more to pay, or you may even be due a refund. If tax is payable, we prepare the payment challan (PSID) and explain the amount.
Yes. We can file returns for earlier years that were missed. Late filing may attract penalties, and we explain these before submitting.
After your return is filed, your name is added to the Active Taxpayer List when FBR next updates it. If the return was filed after the due date, a surcharge applies before your name is added.
Individuals filing a return generally have to submit a wealth statement with it. Our team prepares it together with your return.
